Moreh: Four members of a single family were killed after Myanmar military allegedly bombed a residential house in Mukam village, Depayin Township, Sagaing Region, using a paramotor, local sources have reported.

According to a report published by Tahan Post on October 11, 2026, the incident took place on October 8 at around 1:20 PM. A paramotor that flew out from the Monywa Base of the North-Western Command (Na Ma Kha) dropped bombs on a house in Mukam village, located north of Depayin Township.

Following the explosion, the house caught fire, and all four people living inside were burnt to death, the report said. The victims are reported to be from the same family, though their names and identities are yet to be released.

Local residents told Tahan Post that there was no fighting in the village at the time of the bombing. They alleged that the Myanmar army intentionally targeted civilians, despite no active conflict in the area. The claim could not be independently verified.

Depayin Township in Sagaing Region has been one of the areas most affected by the ongoing conflict in Myanmar, with frequent reports of airstrikes and paramotor bombings targeting residential areas. Human rights groups have repeatedly raised concerns over civilian casualties in such attacks.

As of October 11, there has been no official statement from the Myanmar military regarding the incident in Mukam village.
